Ingredients
John's wort (herb and flower). From organic farming (Bioland).
Recommended intake
Take 3-4 tablets daily. A slow increase from 1 tablet is advisable. To be taken during or directly after meals. With or after meals with sufficient liquid. A slow increase in dose is recommended; however, the recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
A balanced and varied diet, and a healthy lifestyle are important.
Not recommended in case of known allergy to St. John's wort. Sensitivity to the sun may be increased. Herbal products develop their effects only with time, so be patient. If you are taking chemical medications, they sometimes cannot be avoided; consult your therapist before discontinuing or reducing any medication.
Interactions
St. John's wort may increase the concentration of serotonin when combined with SRI or SSRI-type chemical antidepressants, such as paroxetine, sertraline, and trazodone, so dosage adjustment of these medications should be made by the physician. St. John's wort may decrease the effectiveness of theophylline, digoxin, verapamil, simvastatin, and midazolam, so a dose adjustment of these medications should be made by the physician. St. John's wort may decrease the effectiveness of immunosuppressants and hormonal contraceptives (the "pill"), thereby weakening their effectiveness. A sunburn-like reaction is possible with simultaneous treatment with photosensitizing drugs. Do not use in cases of known photosensitivity of the skin, strong sun exposure or solarium.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. The products are freshly sealed and according to § 312 g para 2 No. 3 BGB for reasons of health protection and hygiene from a return, or excluded from exchange.
